Our Services

Hands-on support, from first idea to certificate and beyond

Every business is different, so every engagement is shaped to fit. These are the core ways we help organisations achieve and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BS 99001 and National Highways Sector Scheme certification, plus two quicker options: an expert hour with a lead auditor, and ready-made templates.

Service 01

Internal Audits

Internal auditing is a mandatory requirement of every standard we support, but it should never be a box-ticking exercise. Done well, internal audits find problems before your certification body (or your customers) do, and highlight real opportunities to improve.

Many smaller organisations struggle to audit impartially, because you can't objectively audit your own work. Outsourcing your internal audit programme to Denver House gives you genuine independence, specialist knowledge and a fresh pair of eyes, without the cost of training and maintaining in-house auditors.

  • Full audit programmes: planned schedules covering every process and clause over your certification cycle.
  • Scheme-specific audits: internal audits against your NHSS annex requirements, including competence and training records.
  • Pre-certification audits: a full dress rehearsal before your Stage 1/Stage 2 or surveillance visit.
  • Clear, useful reports: findings ranked by risk, with practical recommendations, not just non-conformity numbers.
  • Follow-up support: help closing out actions and building evidence for your certification body.
Service 02

Consultancy

Whether you're implementing a management system for the first time or need ongoing support to keep an established one healthy, we act as your outsourced quality, environmental and safety department, as much or as little as you need.

For new implementations we build the complete system with you: policies, processes, registers, objectives and records, written in plain English and sized for your business. For established systems we offer retained support: maintaining documents, running management reviews, tracking objectives and standing beside you at external audits.

  • Full implementation: a complete ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BS 99001 or NHSS-ready system, built from scratch around your operations.
  • Certification body liaison: help choosing a UKAS-accredited certification body and managing the application and audit process.
  • Retained support: monthly or quarterly visits to keep your system live, current and audit-ready.
  • Management review & objectives: facilitation, minutes and follow-through on actions.
  • Awareness & coaching: practical sessions so your team understands the system and their part in it.
Service 03

Gap Analysis

Not sure where you stand? A gap analysis is the ideal first step. We review your current arrangements (documents, records, processes and practices) against every requirement of your chosen standard or sector scheme, and tell you exactly what's already in place, what needs strengthening and what's missing.

You receive a clear written report with a prioritised action plan and a realistic timescale to certification. Many clients use the gap analysis as a standalone health check; others use it as the launch pad for a full implementation project with us.

  • Clause-by-clause review: your business measured against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BS 99001 or your target NHSS scheme.
  • Honest scoring: a straightforward view of conformity, partial conformity and gaps.
  • Prioritised roadmap: what to fix first, what can wait, and what you can safely leave alone.
  • Budget & timescale guidance: realistic expectations for effort, cost and time to certification.
  • No obligation: the report is yours to act on, with or without our further help.

Expert Hour

Sometimes you do not need a consultancy day. You need an hour with someone who knows the standard and the scheme, to look at what you already have and tell you what to do next. The expert hour is a paid, one-hour call on Microsoft Teams with a CQI and IRCA registered lead auditor and consultant.

Use it to walk through your SchemeReady readiness report, to make sense of a certification body report and its findings, or to get a straight answer to a specific question about ISO 9001 or a National Highways Sector Scheme. You book a time and pay online, send your documents in advance, and spend the hour on answers rather than background.

£150 ex VAT, per hour

Book an expert hour

  • SchemeReady report review: go through your bands, stop items and action plan and agree what to do first.
  • Certification body report: understand each finding, what evidence would close it and how to write the corrective action.
  • A specific question: scope, competence records, internal audit site visits, management review, or anything else you are unsure of.
  • Booked online: pick a slot, pay by card and receive the Teams link by email.
  • Simple terms: cancel or move the call free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts.

Templates

If you already know what your system needs and you just want the documents to be right first time, the SchemeReady template pack gives you editable templates for the registers and records a National Highways Sector Scheme 12D system relies on, for example a training and card register, a site visit record and a management review agenda.

Buy the full 12D pack or a single template. Each one comes with notes on how to complete it and where it sits in the scheme. Templates are a starting point for your own system, not a substitute for it, and they do not on their own make a system conform.

  • 12D template pack: every template in one download, £149 ex VAT.
  • Single templates: pick just the one you need, £29 ex VAT each.
  • Editable files: adapt them to your own business, with nothing locked.
  • Written against the current issue of the scheme document, with the issue and date shown on each template.
  • Works with SchemeReady: use them to close the gaps your action plan lists.
